What is Calls On Other Devices?
Your iPhone can relay ordinary cellular calls to a Mac, iPad or Apple Vision Pro. The relay is set up on the iPhone at Settings, Apps, Phone, Calls on Other Devices. Turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices, then switch on each device you want in the list underneath.
The other devices must be signed in to the same Apple Account, on the same Wi-Fi network, and within about thirty feet. On a Mac you then open FaceTime settings and select Calls from iPhone. On an iPad the matching switch is at Settings, Apps, FaceTime, Calls from iPhone.
If a device is missing from the list on your iPhone, finish setting up FaceTime on that device first, then look again. On a dual SIM iPhone, calls relayed from another device go out on your default voice line.
How do I do it?
- On the iPhone, open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps, tap Phone, then tap Calls on Other Devices.
- Turn on Allow Calls on Other Devices and switch on each device you want.
