Hire an MCP server developer
Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that let Claude, ChatGPT and your own AI agents read your data and use your tools safely, through one standard interface.
Quick answer
I build MCP servers (Model Context Protocol) that expose your APIs, databases and internal tools to Claude, ChatGPT and AI agents through one standard interface: clear tool definitions, input validation, authentication and limits on what the AI may change. I write them in TypeScript (Node.js) or Python, and connect them to the agents I build with LangGraph.
What I build
MCP servers for your APIs
Your REST or GraphQL endpoints exposed as MCP tools with clear names, descriptions and input schemas.
Database and document access
Read-only or limited access to databases, files and knowledge bases as MCP resources.
Auth and permissions
API keys or OAuth, per-user access and scopes, so the AI sees only what the user may see.
Safe actions
Validation before anything runs and human approval for writes such as payments, deletions or sending messages.
Connecting clients and agents
Set-up for Claude Desktop, Claude Code and other MCP clients, and your own LangGraph agents.
Logging and testing
Every tool call logged, tests for each tool, and deployment with Docker on your infrastructure.

A free tool I built that turns a function into a tool definition for OpenAI, Claude and MCP.

How a project works
- Scope call. We talk through the goal, the current state of the product and what success looks like.
- Written plan. You get fixed milestones, delivery dates and a clear price before any work starts.
- Build in small pieces. I ship in small steps with regular progress updates, so you always see what is built.
- Tested delivery. Delivery includes tests, documentation, handover and free support afterwards if something breaks.
Frequently asked questions
What is an MCP server?
A small service that follows the Model Context Protocol, an open standard from Anthropic, to give AI models tools to call and data to read. Any MCP client, such as Claude, can then use them.
Why use MCP instead of a custom integration?
You write the connection to your system once, and every MCP-compatible client and agent can use it, instead of a separate integration for each AI app.
Which AI apps support MCP?
Claude Desktop, Claude Code and many other AI apps and agent frameworks can connect to MCP servers, and support keeps growing. I check the clients you plan to use.
Which languages do you build MCP servers in?
TypeScript on Node.js or Python, using the official MCP SDKs, depending on your stack.
How do you keep an MCP server secure?
Authentication, per-user permissions, strict input schemas, rate limits, logs of every call and human approval for destructive actions.
Can the AI change data through MCP?
Only if you allow it. I usually start read-only, then add write tools one by one with validation and approval steps.
Can you connect MCP to our internal tools?
Yes. CRMs, ticketing, databases, internal APIs and document stores can all be exposed as MCP tools and resources.
Do MCP servers run locally or remotely?
Both. Local servers run next to an app such as Claude Desktop; remote servers run on your infrastructure and serve many users with authentication.
Can MCP tools be used by our own agents?
Yes. The same MCP server can serve Claude and the LangGraph agents I build, so your tools are defined once.
How long does an MCP server take?
A server with a handful of read-only tools over an existing API often takes days. More tools, writes and OAuth take longer. You get a plan first.
